40 Days of Praying in the Spirit - Day 9

But David felt strengthened in the LORD his God. 1 Samuel 30:6

There are times and seasons in our lives similar to King David's, when the enemy of our souls is pressing hard on us. The physical pressure coupled with the supernatural forces truly make the Christian journey compelling. As David, responded to God, regarding his situation we too seek to draw near to God, as we pray in the Spirit, and lean into Him for renewed faith, encouragement and peace. The Holy Spirit, is ever faithful to be present to pray for us and through us. Like David, we must approach our Lord with confidence even in the midst of the enemies assault. God is faithful, the Christ ever loving , and the Holy Spirit ever empowering. Pray today with this view in mind, He is ever making intercession for the saints. Allow the words of heaven to give articulation to your soul and spirit. Believe for the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in the battle that you become stronger and encouraged in the Lord.

Blessings Pastor Mike.
