Day 38 Praying in the Spirt: Edifying oneself in the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 1:6 You also became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much tribulation with the joy of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

As we approach our mark of 40 days in being edified in the Holy Spirit, we would have discovered a life-forming habit is developing. Abiding in spiritual disciplines eventually becomes our friend whereby the task is no longer regarded as something complex or challenging but more natural and fulfilling. Christians are expected to be many things when it comes to expressing Christ’s life, including Joyfulness. As we walk with the Lord and pray in the Holy Spirit, work is taking place producing the fruits of righteousness, commitment, and honor to the Lord. Joy is such a fruit that characterizes a supernatural work of God in our inner core. It’s the life of God reflected in a person regardless of life’s great difficulties. As we press to reach our goal of reaching 40 days of continuous believing, soaking, and seeking may we find more Joy operating in our lives. Personally, I believe God wants more Joy from His people who regard Revive Church Wagoner as their spiritual home. Joy is reflective of our trust, our confidence, and our faith in a God who is all in all. May we become saturated in his presence, unashamed to abandon ourselves to the one who loves us? May we learn to pray fervently in the language of heaven being filled to the fullest measure. Let's enter a new season overflowing with expectant Joy.

Blessings and More.
